The Energy of Synthesis

I was reminded of the work of the Synthesis Ashram recently when I heard from Glen Knape of the Wisdom Impressions group who study the writings of Lucille Cerdecrans. Lucille was a lady who worked with the Master R. in the United States, in the 1950’s.  She published some excellent teaching material, including the well-known book, “The Nature of the Soul’.

Lucille raised awareness of the Synthesis Ashram, an inter-ashramic initiative by several Masters, including the Master M on the 1st ray, the Master DK on the 2nd and the Master R. on the 3rd / 7th.  It is an initiative supported by the Christ and the Buddha and its energy is that of Wisdom or  loving action. It is a dynamic energy which promotes the experience of Oneness within and between us. It clears the way for us to recognise and experience the shared quality of the Self. Our personality differences can then be seen as an expression of different ray qualities and no longer promote separative thinking.

"Spirit synthesises while the mind divides."
The Synthesis Ashram with its 7th ray focus is a palliative for the passivity of the Piscean age, because it emphasises the creative, ordered activity of the 7th ray.  It leads to the manifestation of more spiritualised forms in the world of matter. In human terms, it promotes the expression of loving, intelligent action in everday life.

The Avatar of Synthesis is the Intelligence bringing this new note to our planet and over time the Teachers who carry this Avatar's energy are appearing and demonstrating in their teaching and service activities the ability to synthesise divergent approaches. Look for those who promote the shared, universal nature of our identity and the oneness of Humanity. They understand the different spiritual approaches, perceiving with synthetic vision the underlying unity of the many paths to God.

Synthesis has a corrective aspect in that it also dissolves the obstructions that promote separative attitudes. Having released any blockages the heart can open and we experience the unitive vision of our Spirit. This catalytic aspect is the 1st rays contribution. Synthesis also promotes the emergence of larger units from lesser ones and is inherent in the evolution of any group. It is the unifying factor that enhances co-operation, brotherhood and communion. That is the 2nd ray's contribution. As one teacher has said “When diversity ends in oneness we call it synthesis”. Only the individual who has progressed some distance along the spiritual path can have the vision of synthesis, which reveals the underlying and shared Spirit within the heart of humanity.

Ways to promote synthesis include taking the perpsective that there is One life and we are all expressions of it. cting from the  (spiritual) heart and not the mind also develops a synthetic approach. The heart is the source of love and our shared nature. Once the heart has opened the vision of unity becomes an antidote for separative thinking and action. It is important to note that one still has discernment, but the petty judgements fade away in the light of the Soul. An inclusive attitude, co-operation, gratitude and enthusiasm for life all promote synthesis. Purification of the personality complex eliminates the distractions that the individual bodies create for us, releasing the focus of our individual consciousness back to its identity with the Absolute.

The beauty of Kuthumi's message in the Red Letters is that he is showing each of us that we can synthesise our smaller flame with that of the Solar Logos, by expressing our purpose and manifesting the Logoic intention built into our Sun sign.

So synthesis is the emerging energy. Look around and you see it effecting gradual change on the most hardened material levels. One example is the growth of large corporations. Individual companies are being swallowed up by them and they grow into large monopolies. These seem threatening and undesirable given how many corporations have a pernicious influence on our society and us as individuals. The antidiote to their hegemony will be found if the individuals within the corporation can insist on having a say in how the company operates,  ie. the individual units need to promote the health of the larger unit. This also operates in relation to our Planet too. The Planetary Logos needs our co-operation, as does the Solar Logos.

A positive expression of synthesis is seen in the increasing numbers of people who are realising their true nature and are galvanised into planning various ways to promote service, sharing and co-operative action.
